Elegance meets ethics
Crafted from ocean-bound plastic waste, these elegant carpets are not only visually and texturally exquisite but also represent a sophisticated response to one of the planetโs most urgent environmental challenges.
Choosing Aruba is more than a design decision; itโs a declaration of refined taste and forward-thinking responsibility. For those who curate interiors with purpose and artistry, Aruba is not merely a carpetโitโs where elegance meets ethics.
Every year, millions of tonnes of plastic threaten our oceans. Aruba intervenes before that waste reaches the water, transforming it into a soft, luxurious yarn that mirrors the beauty and warmth of natural wool. This isย circular innovation at its finestโwhere discarded materials are reborn as timeless design.

At Eaton Square, we believe true luxury is not just seen or feltโitโs lived. Theย Aruba Collectionย reflects this philosophy, proving that sustainability and sophistication can coexist beautifully. By turning a global problem into an inspired design solution, Aruba stands as a testament to what modern luxury should be: meaningful, responsible, and enduring.

About
True sustainability begins with transparency. Understanding where materials come from and who collects them ensures traceability and accountability throughout the supply chain. It also allows us to protect the planet while empowering the coastal communities working tirelessly to keep our oceans clean.
Thatโs why Eaton Square has partnered withย #tide, an organisation dedicated to transforming ocean-bound plastic into premium, long-lasting materials while creating fair employment opportunities and driving measurable environmental change. Together, weโve created theย Arubaย andย Aruba Bayย collectionsโmade from ocean-bound plastic waste collected by fishermen in Southeast Asia and Mexico.

Reducing the carbon footprint
This collaboration not only helps reduce COโ emissions and ocean pollution but also supports local economies through fair wages, organised beach clean-ups, and waste management systems. The plastic usedโsourced from Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippinesโisย 100% certified ocean-bound plastic,ย defined as mismanaged waste within 50 km of coastlines or waterways where disposal systems are lacking.
Through #tideโs award-winning upcycling process and mono-material innovation, discarded plastic is transformed into durable raw material suitable for high-quality carpets. By choosing this method over virgin plastic, we protect marine ecosystems, advance circular design, save up toย 52% in energy,ย and reduce theย carbon footprint by as much as 80%โhelping to shape a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Plastic Collected Since 2021
Since 2021, #tide has collected and processed the equivalent of 240 million plastic bottles โ preventing an estimated 2.4 million kilograms of plastic from entering the ocean. This represents one of the most significant ocean-bound plastic interception efforts in Southeast Asia, with verified, auditable results.

Livelihoods & Coastal Communityย Development
#tide's collection network creates real economic opportunity in coastal Thailand. With more than 200 registered collectors โ and the capacity to scale to 1,500 โ theย program delivers direct income to underserved communities while building a resilient,ย inclusive workforce.

60% Women Collectors
Female representation in the collector database, driving economic empowerment at the grassroots level
80% Women in Workforce
Gender inclusion is central to #tide's model โ women lead collection and processing operations

27,400 baby turtles hatched
#tide's conservation efforts go beyond waste collection and contribute directly to the protection of biodiversity. A standoutย example is the success in Mexico, where #tide Costa Maya has supported beach clean-ups and a turtle conservation centre located in Mahahual (Yucatan Peninsula).
Between 2023 and 2025 an impressive 27,400 baby turtles successfully hatched in this area. This is a testament to #tide's commitment to protecting and restoring ecosystems threatened by plastic pollution.
This initiative highlights #tide's holistic approach, which, alongside reducing ocean plastic, also supports ecological balance.
